Schmalz has created a new series CMB-HD block for metal and plastic cutting in CNC machining centers. The CMB-HD can hold workpieces made of soft material such as aluminum, plastic or brass. Thanks to flat suction plate and high clamping force, workpieces can processing from 5 sides.
The CMB-HD – the first vacuum block, that can easily attach directly to the T-slot table. The vacuum blocks can be used in both dry and wet machining processes.
With this vacuum block companies can easier started with vacuum clamping. Due to the simple setup, it can be used flexibly – even when frequently alternating with other clamping devices.
